Tippah County is a place with a vibrant community spirit, where neighbors come together to celebrate, share good times, and create lasting memories. The historic courthouse square in Ripley serves as the heart of our community, frequently hosting a variety of events that bring our charming small town to life.
First Monday Trade Days
- Our Signature Event
More than just a market, Ripley’s First Monday Trade Days is a monthly festival that has been a cornerstone of our community since 1893. Held on the Saturday and Sunday before the first Monday of each month, this event is a celebration of local culture. Visitors can enjoy a fantastic community atmosphere complete with live entertainment, delicious local food, and hundreds of vendors offering unique finds and handmade crafts. It’s a beloved tradition that brings together people from all over the Mid-South.
